The preschool Teacher is responsible to promote readiness by preparing children and families for school, success and life, success as it relates to this position. To provide high-quality developmentally appropriate care and educate children ages 3 to 5 in a center base classroom in the CPLC ECD program. Work as part of a center based inner disciplinary team to support the child in all areas of development while providing education, disabilities, health, and social services support to families. Abide by all state and federal regulations that applied to care and education of young children, including the revised head start program performances and standards (HSPPS), Head Start initiatives and ECD content, area plants and procedures. Actively supervise children by site and sound at all times and in all environments.. maintain all health and safety regulations to create an optimum learning environment. Facilitate health practices to keep children safe in all the school bus, outdoor and indoor environments.

• Planned age-appropriate activities aligned with early childhood curriculum and developmental goals.
• Maintained safe, engaging classroom environment supporting positive behavior and learning routines.
• Observed children's progress and documented developmental milestones for instructional planning.
• Communicated daily with families regarding student behavior, activities, and classroom updates.
• Lesson plans weekly observations and did all the activities in the classrooms decorated the classrooms by theme.
