Answering all incoming calls and triaging them to get them connected to the correct person/department. Also answering Dean Direct and Access calls and connecting the correct provider/providers needed.

• Answer phones, organize files, order supplies, handle correspondence, manage databases, and provide general support to patients, family members and other staff. Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate all aspects of the patients care including admissions, discharges and transfers.

• Scheduling, greeting and checking in patients using Epic. Answering incoming calls and route correctly. Entering patients demographics into appropriate database.verifying and checking insurance. Performed other duties as assigned.

• Scheduling, greeting and checking in patients using Cerner Health System. Chart documenting, filing, scanning, electronic medical record maintenance. Cisco Multi-line phone system use as well as supporting staff and physicians at the Clinic. Also did training of new employees coming in to Clinic and was a Super user of Cerner Health system.
