I Love teaching art courses successfully in the classroom. I have taught art classes all day to all of the students at both Lake Alice and at Wheatland Schools for years, so teaching multiple art classes all day is nothing new to me. Proven history of improving student learning of art outcomes by adapting lesson plans to student needs. Dedicated to promoting art history and how to use these techniques in their own art.
I am always amazed at how much art I do everyday. I have made and created stage props and sets. I have created props for floats and plays. I have painted signs for buildings, trucks, etc. Calligraphy is one thing that I do for everyone. Posters for everything are a definite job that I have acquired and provided for schools, classrooms and friends. I loom rugs, paint paintings, create paper mache, crafts, beading, the list goes on... there is not an art project that I will not try to accomplish with enthusiasm and precision. I truly love to draw, sketch, and create using pencils, charcoal and oil pastels or chalk pastels as well. I teach using STEAM vocabulary. I want students that love to design and engineers to come in wanting to invent and their drawing helps them to develop their designs. Examples of this are getting perspectives correct. etc.
