Over the past two years I have worked with FirstHealth-Richmond as a nursing assistant and recently as a student nurse extern. I have enjoyed getting to know the medical field as well as my love for providing compassionate patient care. Prior to being in the hospital atmosphere I was an aid for Sandhills Home Care. I worked with that company for the duration of a year while having the same three patients. Providing that one on one care influenced my desire to continue my education in the medical field. This journey has been nothing less than rewarding and eye opening for me and my calling to be a nurse.
