Work Summary
During my time at CVS, I began as a front-store Cashier, where I developed strong customer service skills, handled transactions efficiently, managed returns, and helped maintain store organization and cleanliness. I consistently ensured a smooth and positive experience for every customer.
I was later given the opportunity to begin my training as a Pharmacy Technician in Training, which allowed me to take on more responsibility within the pharmacy. My roles included assisting with data entry, filling prescriptions under supervision, managing inventory, and helping customers with prescription pickups. I also supported the pharmacy team by handling phone calls, processing insurance claims, and ensuring HIPAA compliance.
While I am grateful for the experience I gained, I feel that my training lacked structure and thorough guidance. I am eager to build on what I learned by receiving proper, hands-on training from knowledgeable professionals who are willing to teach. I believe that with the right mentorship and environment, I can expand my skills, better assist patients, and grow into a more confident and capable pharmacy technician.
