Lead abstractor for the Kettering Network severe sepsis core measure team. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data that can be used to measure and track clinical performance and outcomes. Expert in sepsis policy; supported a quality improvement initiative that resulted in cost savings for the organization by significantly improving the sepsis readmission rates for Kettering Health Network. Other responsibilities include facilitating educational opportunities, participating in network quality meetings, and developing and updating facility sepsis guidelines. Currently involved in the monitoring/reporting of Covid and Influenza incident rates to state authorities.
