In addition to the sorting, shelving, and shelf-reading duties of a page, I have been trained in and taken on many duties of an Assistant and Circulation Aid, including:

• A full working knowledge of Polaris Leap
• Checking and processing daily book deliveries
• Picklist and holds processing
• Assisting with collections maintenance, including weeding sections
• Section organization and updating signage
• Assisting patrons with a range of requests, including technical help, locating types of books or specific books, and making suggestions

• Operated chairlift control panel, monitored speed settings and adjusted accordingly based on load capacity and weather conditions.
• Responded quickly to emergency situations such as broken chairs or sudden stops of lifts due to technical faults.
• Monitored weather conditions to ensure safe operation of lifts.
• Assisted passengers in loading and unloading safely from the lift and ensured that all riders followed safety guidelines during the ride.

The role of supervisor extended to 10 teaching aides and 160 students, Kindergarten-5th grade, in an educational before-and-after program. Duties included:

• Designing and implementing educational programming, care, safety, and healthy growth of students and their interpersonal relationships, homework assistance, fun and appropriate physical activity, and multi-classroom management for all students
• Timekeeping, payroll, activity development, yearly reviews, and workplace development for teaching aides
