• Integral part of the design team for building a new Apheresis Unit that expanded from 6 to 14 beds.
• Oversaw the development and action plan to hire additional staff and supervisor to support the growth of the Cellular Therapy program.
• Oversee daily operations of the Apheresis Unit, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.
• Lead a team of 17 nurses and support staff, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
• Monitor compliance with FACT, FDA, and AABB regulations related to cellular therapies, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Continued involvement in various cellular therapy collections for both standard of care and clinical trial products through onboarding of new sponsors, workflow development, staff education, and sponsor relations and audits.

Worked with designers to create an information portal that would appeal to all members of the cellular therapy ecosystem; inclusive of collection centers, cryopreservation centers, cell labs, and manufactures. Provided insight to successes and challenges when working within a portal system. Feedback was provided on design ideas prior to product finalization.

• Provided comprehensive care in the multifaceted area of apheresis.
• Assisted in Evidence Based Practice Project and presented at ASFA.
• Moved into the Team Lead position in April of 2018 with increased role responsibilities including, development and maintenance of Standards of Practice, manage staffing to align with the needs of the unit, and deliver feedback to employees

• Oversaw and managed several clinical and support staff that performed patient care while sustaining a high level of staff engagement and professionalism.
