Responsible for the following:

• Development and maintenance of all affiliation agreements with both programs and collaborating institutions
• Development and oversight of clinical rotations across BWH
• Onboarding and management of all PA students at BWH
• Supervision and delivery of ongoing education of all PA preceptors across BWH
• Communications related to PA students and preceptors
• Ensuring rotations meet ARC-PA accreditation standards
• Development and implementation of PA student to staff pipeline
• Oversight, delivery and maintenance of PA preceptor orientation and education
• Oversight and management of all PA educational programs across BWH
• Active participant in development and implementation of PA Fellowship programs across BWH

• Assist in all areas of patient care on the Interventional Cardiovascular Medicine Service including obtaining, interpreting and coordinating pre-procedural history and physical examination, interpreting laboratory data, writing admission orders, first assisting in cardiac catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, pericardiocentesis, and structural procedures; caring for patients post procedure, planning discharge, and educating patients

• Developed STRATUS center curriculum for Fellow and PA orientation to the cardiac cath lab that includes basic hands on skills
• Instruct cath lab orientation and basic cath skills course at STRATUS center
• Organize and coordinate First Year Cardiology Fellow education in the cath lab
• Precept new Cardiology Fellows, Physician Assistants, Physician Assistant Students and Cardiac Surgical Residents

• Conducted complete physical exams with diagnosis and treatment of GI specific illness.
• Provided initial consultation as well routine follow-up care for established patients.
• Ordered and interpreted laboratory tests, diagnostic studies, radiology and pathology.

• First and second assisted in cardiothoracic surgeries
• Participated in daily surgical rounds.

• Assisted in all aspects of patient care in the Orthopedic Surgery Department including assisting in major orthopedic surgeries, performing initial and follow-up evaluations including history and physical examinations and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and their results.

• Educated students, house staff, nurses, and technicians
• Acted as clinical liaison to the Information Systems team
• Developed an extensive knowledge of the ACC-NCDR data elements and definitions for state mandated reporting to the Department of Public Health and the American College of Cardiology
• Trained Physician Assistants and Fellows in data collection.
