Provided a safe environment for rescue kittens for the city of Albuquerque's Animal Welfare. I raised 6 different litters which was 15 different kittens in a years time with all kittens surviving and thriving until they were ready to be adopted out to members of the community.

I also provided basic medical treatments which included:

  • Transportation to all veterinarian visits
  • Administered both eye and oral medication
  • Gave medical baths for treatments
  • Provided safe aftercare for all kittens after spaying and/or neutering.

On top of medical treatments I also provide socialization for the kittens by integrating abandoned kittens into the adoption system and by enhancing their adaptability and adoptability as household pets.

Socialization of the kittens included the following:

  • litter box introduction
  • Creation and Management of interactive positive playtime
  • Proper introductions into being handled, petted, and being held
  • introduction to other cats, other pets such as dogs, and people other than myself
  • providing medications and other forms of health-related care to help keep these kittens alive and well.
