- Co-chaired Referral, Scheduling, and Authorizations one epic instance committee for our three distinct Epic platforms which represented twenty-two hospitals and three hundred plus ambulatory and outpatient clinics
- Developed authorization procurement teams for surgical services, outpatient imaging, and cardiac testing in two of our three markets where this work was decentralized at the practice level
- Leveraged Claim Edit build to create further safeguards to avoid authorization denials
- Stood up a process, and team, to facilitate post claim retro authorizations and appeals leading to a ~30% increase in favorable post authorization denial decisions
- Achieved a gold trophy in Epic's Automation Pulse Dashboard for Authorizations Auto Obtained as well as bronze trophies in authorization denial rates
- Created multiple Epic dashboards to help visualize authorization data to directly influence goal setting and
