  • Daily Operations: crew briefing, A-checks, inventory, physical training, driving, communications, fire study reviews/ training, maintain operational readiness
  • Fireline operations: fireline construction direct/indirect/parallel, mop-up, monitoring, burn operations, holding operations, felling operations, preparation for burn operations
  • Winter operations: flood control, hazard tree removal, sand bag delivery, fuel projects, prescribed burn operations, help lead and facilitate wildland operation training, fuel reduction for upcoming fire seasons
  • Aerial Operations: Crew transportation via helicopter (firehawk) training in long line operations, hoisting, and air ambulance operations, Calling water drops and scouting, utilizing helicopters for aerial ignition for burn operations
  • profficient in all parts of a burn operation and the use of firing devices such as drip torches, fusees, bery pistol and throwables
