Repairs trees damaged by storm or lightning by trimming jagged stumps. Removes broken limbs from wires, using hooked extension pole. Cuts trees interfering with power service, using chain saw. May work from bucket of extended truck boom to reach limbs.

Operate various production machines within the facility in accordance with prints and specifications. Assigned machines may include lathes, grinders, mills, brake presses, punch presses, band saws, banders, slitters, lasers, and similar equipment. Produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances. Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications. Maintains logs and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces. Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment; performs basic and routine adjustments and troubleshooting. Calibrate, adjust and correct machine set-ups to ensure products are produced to the correct specifications, thicknesses, and size. Control and adjust machine settings, and feed raw materials or parts to semi-automated and automated machines. Monitor machine cycles to detect jamming and to ensure that products conform to specifications. Examine, inspect, and measure raw materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications. Measure finished parts with precision tools, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications. Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area. Adherence to Safety Standards and policies.
