While at Forestry summer practicum, I learned:

• how to manage forests for several different uses while taking into account wildlife, BMP and SMZ, landowner preferences, invasive/pest control, the type of forest, and more.
• how to survey land and the timber within in an organized and detailed spreadsheet while demonstrating the data collected in an easy to comprehend manner via document or powerpoint.
• understanding Aldo's toolbox (axe, match, plow, cow, gun, and herbicides) and how to properly prescribe these tools to achieve the desires of the landowner. I learned how to apply some of these personally incase it is me working in the field.

As pool manager, I was required to schedule lifeguard shifts and to maintain order and cleanliness for both the pool and the pool deck, as well as dealing with any customer issues. I can perform basic water testing and understand pool equipment. I instructed swimming lessons for kids 3-10 years old.

I was also a bartender and operated the front desk. I was required to greet guests to the club in a friendly manner, check them in, and ensure they enjoyed their stay by providing drinks and food services with a positive attitude every day.
