• Provide advanced respiratory care in Neuro, Trauma, Burn, Vascular, and Cardiothoracic ICUs at a major Level I Trauma and tertiary referral center.
• Manage complex mechanical ventilation using Hamilton C6, T1, C1, and G5 ventilators for critically ill patients.
• Deliver respiratory support via high-flow oxygen therapy, BiPAP, CPAP, and invasive ventilation modes, adjusting settings based on ABGs and patient response.
• Care for post-cardiothoracic surgery patients, spinal cord injury patients, and high-acuity trauma cases requiring protocol-driven respiratory management.
• Administer Epoprostenol (Veletri) for pulmonary hypertension and refractory hypoxemia.
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
• Utilize Epic for documentation, order execution, and compliance with hospital protocols including VAP prevention and lung-protective strategies.
