• Provide advanced respiratory care in Neuro, Trauma, Burn, Vascular, and Cardiothoracic ICUs at a major Level I Trauma and tertiary referral center.

• Manage complex mechanical ventilation using Hamilton C6, T1, C1, and G5 ventilators for critically ill patients.

• Deliver respiratory support via high-flow oxygen therapy, BiPAP, CPAP, and invasive ventilation modes, adjusting settings based on ABGs and patient response.

• Care for post-cardiothoracic surgery patients, spinal cord injury patients, and high-acuity trauma cases requiring protocol-driven respiratory management.

• Administer Epoprostenol (Veletri) for pulmonary hypertension and refractory hypoxemia.

• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.

• Utilize Epic for documentation, order execution, and compliance with hospital protocols including VAP prevention and lung-protective strategies.

• Sentara Norfolk General Hospital: Level I Trauma Center and academic teaching hospital with advanced neuro, trauma, and critical care services.

• Sentara Heart Hospital: Specialized cardiovascular center providing advanced cardiac surgery, heart failure management, and post-cardiothoracic critical care with established ICU protocols.

• Provide respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients across ICU, PICU, and general floors in a high-acuity trauma setting.
• Administer Nitric Oxide and Epoprostenol inhalation therapies for critically ill patients.
• Operate Servo-U, Servo-I, V60, Nihon Kohden, EV300, and Vapotherme. Ventilators, Bipaps, High Flow with precision and care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Perform ventilator weaning, extubation, and airway management for complex respiratory cases.
