Musician, Artist, Athlete and Cooking

since I was young I've had an interest, in creativity, sportsmanship, and gaining knowledge all of which have influenced who I am today. My musical journey started back in grade when I joined the school band. While my original choice was the bass guitar I ended up picking the trumpet to honor my roots. I received my trumpet six months later than my classmates leading to some challenges and almost getting kicked out of band class. However, once I finally had my hands on that trumpet my love for music blossomed. Over the 13 years, I evolved from a 12-year-old into an accomplished solo performer mastering various brass instruments along the way. Music became a channel for expressing my emotions and creativity. It remains a significant part of my life.

Art has also played a role in shaping who I am. Both of my parents are artists who encouraged my passion for drawing from a young age. In school, my art teacher noticed my style and encouraged me by entering me into multiple competitions. Ultimately thanks to a portfolio that allowed me to convey what words couldn't express I achieved a 5, on the AP Art exam.
Art becomes my voice in moments when spoken words fall short.

The realm of sports has been a part of my life largely influenced by my family. Growing up with a mother who excelled in track and a father who was a boxer I inherited a passion, for activity. Of being a spectator I've always preferred engaging in sports such as basketball, running, mountain biking, and bouldering. Embracing challenges and seeking experiences have always driven me to enhance my abilities.

Cooking holds value for me as it is deeply intertwined with my family's customs. Recently delving into our roots through DNA testing has sparked an exploration into the traditions of my culture. Exploring the world of cuisine has ignited a passion enabling me to connect with my heritage through the artistry of cooking.
