Eager to obtain an RN position on OHVI 5 where I have completed a one term clinical rotation as well as my integrative practicum (23 shifts) through LCC. I bring a careful attention to safety combined with a love of patient-centered care, and I thrive on working within a team.

Provided Care
Personal Friend
Eugene, OR
09.2009 - 12.2010
Managed four children, volunteering in their school, and devoting 30 hours a week to a very close friend. Her husband was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I was committed to help, and along the way I learned, I just needed the education to become a nurse. I worked with hospice, managed families visiting and grieving while saying their goodbyes, and was there for his last breath.
Childrens Outreach Coordinator
New Day
Eugene, OR
04.2003 - 11.2008
Our family stepped out to lead an outreach directed at helping at-risk families in our community. We used buses to pick up children and families with no transportation. I headed up babies through fifth grade. I shopped for snacks, wrote the curriculum, identified safe teachers and leaders, rearranged three classrooms and loaded them with furnishings from our truck, went to homes and helped treat for lice, carried my brand new baby in a sling and kept my own children in my sight because the population had a lot of drug and criminal background.
Facilitated Women
New Day
Eugene, OR
04.2003 - 11.2008
I facilitated safe meetings where we had women attempting to come out of drug backgrounds and unsafe relationships. I would coordinate the team of volunteers as well as come up with the message (speaking), gifts, music and the venue. I also had meetings to provide a safe debriefing space for volunteers.
