In my current role as a Special Education Coordinator, working under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Alternative Instruction and the Director of Special Education, I assist in the management and administration of special education programs across alternative education settings. I facilitate IEP meetings and serve as the Local Educational Agency (LEA) Representative, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws while guiding collaborative, student-centered decision-making.
