RN performing duties of Home Health nurse that included assessing and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit, completing evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs, dressing or redressing wounds and assessing the healing progress, providing education to patients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies and coordinating care with Physicians, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists and other individuals in the patient’s care plan.

Worked as an RN on the Medical Surgical floor. Some responsibilities included keeping organized and following patient care plans exactly, administering medications and using medical equipment, communicating clearly and honestly with people from all backgrounds, keeping good records and maintaining patients’ charts, using basic math skills adequate for dosage calculations, blood transfusions, IV placement and management, wound care, and catheter care.
