I have wide experience in different types of forming , Production systems in various types of substrates, intended service and vessels. Coating include liquid epoxies, urethane, zinc, phenolics, hi-temp, powder off-shore sub-sea, chemical plants and refineries. I have a broad experience in various aspects of coating technicalities, inspection and testing from surface preparation until the finishing stages. Proficient in key competitive analysis and share related knowledge of international terminologies, codes & standards (ISO, NACE, CSA, SSPC, ASTM, AWWA and API) My goal is to work in the field of Inspection, Technical Service, I have been Certified as an Internal ISO Auditor to the 9001:2015 Standards.   • Review Customer Specification and develop a detailed Clarification and Exception report based on specific tolerance allowed. capabilities, while staying current with revisions to latest specifications or any supporting documents.
  • Produce an Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for Customer specific project requirements and in accordance with Industry Standards such as NACE, CSA and API.
  • Responsible for alerting Customer's designated authority and Plant Supervisors when extenuating problems arise which may require the Customer's consent for resolution and approval.
  • Develop and implement Quality Control site specific written procedures .
  • Supervise, oversee department personnel training including cross-training & professional development Supervise and train personnel in non-destructive inspections in compliance with Industry Standards such as NACE and CSA (i.e.ambient conditions, substrate surface cleanliness, anchor profile measurement, steel temperature, dry film thickness inspection)
  • Supervise and train QC personnel in inspection of pipe surface in conformance with API standards.
  • Supervise and train QC laboratory personnel in destructive testing and evaluation of coatings (i.e.Cathodic Disbondment, Moisture Permeation, Flexibility, Adhesion, Contamination/Porosity, Impact Resistance, Differential Scanning Calorimetry) in accordance with industry specifications including but not limited to API, ASTM, AWWA, NACE, CSA, ISO and SSPC as well as end-user specified parameters.
  • Track and maintain calibration records in database of all QC inspection instruments & equipment, gather instruments when inspection becomes due and sending the out for service as needed.
  • Maintain/promote organized, safe and clean work areas by educating and directing personnel on Safety, Lean and 5S standards.
  • Encourage a Safety and Environmental mind-set with the QC department personnel in compliance with Safety Department Program to ensure compliance with all OSHA/EPA and outside regulatory agencies.
