
I've been a airport security guard 2 years. Responsible for Controlling access and conducting vehicle inspections at perimeter access point to the Airport secured areas, and also Conducting vehicle inspections at entries into secure area
* Start of shift preliminary check, take pictures of vehicle, write down mileages, no damage to vehicle.
*Secure North side of air port form 24 st. to Fuel Lane on Air Lane,
*North side check 44 st. to 24 st. to Sky Harbor Blvd.
*Ramp check are made 116 service Rd, and American Airline Hanger, scan check air side have 13 scans within both sides air side and land side.
*Security check at Tonto lot 15 min. wait 3 x pre shift, North end corner
3 x pre shift.
*Officer check and post check 220, 116, 141 and assist anyway possible needed help and water check
*Check fence lines airline side and land side to make sure no gaps are present.
* Conduct post inspections, equipment, and review current pass along information to be aware of any new or changed assignments, Be able to identify and deny access of prohibited items. Remain knowledgeable of security orders, directives and procedures at all times. Admits or deny access as directed by management or Standard Operating Protocols
*Stand post as a deterrent to any person seeking access to the controlled area by orally challenging them of their need to enter. Verify all person's credentials and badges, ensuring the name, company, and expiration date are all present on the badge. Verify the picture matches the person seeking access. Inspect all property, belongings, deliveries, and merchandise in accordance with inspections requirements.
*Take reasonable and prudent action to ensure the safety of employees, visiting personal, and clients assist. Observe and monitor the actions of persons considering entering the secured area. Control the security prescribed pre post and implement all access control measures.
*Prepare legible daily logs, reports, and incident reports as required with adequate detail and description, Report to management all unusual or suspicious activity. Pass this information along during shift changes and briefing
*Provide directions as necessary. Provide assistance to customers, and visitors in a courteous, and professional manner. Perform vehicle inspections according to Standard Operating Protocols and post ordrers..
