  • Opened new 93 bed community hospital for UCHealth in Highlands Ranch, CO. I was in charge of onboarding new employees, coordinating and maintaining equipment and vendor training for Emergency Staff. After opening, I continued to function as the day charge nurse, caring for critically ill patients, annual evaluations, making the schedule and coordinating care with other departments as well as extensive problem solving as issues arose.
  • In the House Supervisor role, I was nursing supervisor for all nurses working in the hospital for the 12-hour shift. This role included reporting status of hospital capacity and staffing to senior leaders each morning as well as determining and coordinating patient flow between hospital units to maximize patient safety and experience and use of hospital resources. Additionally I responded to staff requests when managerial assistance was needed and reallocated/assigned staff to units in response to COVID surges.
