• Ensured ongoing maintenance of Primary Stroke Certification through the Joint Commission for the facility, Successfully completed three Joint Commission surveys at LMC with no findings in 2024.
• Improved nurse documentation compliance and discharge planning, achieving full adherence to all Joint Commission Core Measures, maintaining all measures above national and state average.
• Contributed to the development of criteria and protocols for managing post-thrombolytic patients and minor non-traumatic head bleeds at LMC, successfully keeping 95% of post thrombolytic in their community.
• Participated in creating teleneurology consultation processes for inpatient stroke care at three network hospitals.
• Instrumental in creating a teleneurology outpatient clinic in Lexington, to help with Social Determinants of Health such as transportation, and access to health care.

• The Clinical Educator primary responsibility is to plan, develop, and implement educational activities to meet the needs of HODC clinical staff to ensure excellent patient care and organizational performance.
