I have babysat for many of my parents friends as well as other adults and I have had experience with all kids of all ages.

My school is actively engaged in community service and everyone participates to volunteer and help out. The special olympics is an annual event and I helped out this year and will continue to for 3 following years that I am at this school. Apart from this event, there are other volunteer opportunities my school offers that I choose to participate in.
I worked at my summer camp for two weeks in the kitchen. I washed dishes and worked in the dish room for three meals a day. Apart from the dish room, I also helped out with other things in the kitchen.
I worked as a counselor at my old school for two weeks for 2nd graders. I brought them to their activities and guided them through their schedule from 9 am until 2 pm.

Last year, in ninth grade I was elected by vote to be Red Team Captain. I made posters, wrote a speech and presented in front of the upper school.
I also gave a TED talk, wrote a thesis paper and created a capstone project which is all apart of the capstone program at my school.
I have played squash for a majority of my life and have won matches and one bronze tournament about 2 years ago.
This year, I won MVP for JV field hockey at my school.
Last year, I won The Rippowam Cisqua Prize at awards ceremony at my old school. The Rippowam Cisqua Prize is the highest award given to the student in the ninth grade with the highest character and student skills.
