I am a 9th year school psychologist skilled with working at all levels of education, elementary, middle, and high school. Throughout these past years, my experiences have varied from providing individual general education counseling, educationally related mental health services, teaching whole class social emotional lessons, running counseling groups, responding to crisis situations to navigating the channels of due process. I have also had the pleasure of working within both Title 1 and affluent schools, populated with diverse groups of students who speak a variety of languages. In the special education realm, I have provided services and worked within each of the steps within continuum of service; resource center, self-contained classes and with students who have moderate to severe disabilities that require para-educator services. As a school psychologist, I believe collaboration and consultation are keys to being an active team member as well as ensuring students get the support and services they need. I look forward to immersing myself into a new setting and continue to grow within my practice.
