• Collaborated with television writer and producer Will McRobb, Lighthouse Studios, and Apple TV+ to adapt my graphic novel, El Deafo, into an award-winning three-part animated limited series.
• Won the 2022 Humanitas Prize for Children's Teleplay, honoring writing that explores the human condition
• Won the 2022 BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Children & Young People Award
• Co-wrote the television script with Will McRobb
• Assisted with character designs, story editing, and sound design
• Assisted in the selection of all the voice actors
• Assisted with direction during voice recordings for actors including Pamela Adlon, Jane Lynch, and Clancy Brown.
• Voice-acted (as the narrator)

• Developed and created original content for Crayola products
• Created designs with licensed content for various school supplies made by the paper supplier Plymouth in Radford, Virginia
• Created CD covers for various bands produced by the SquealerMusic record label in Blacksburg, Virginia
• Created designs and illustrations for a variety of playing cards and casino chips
• Worked with many clients to create brochures, maps, magazine layouts, t-shirt designs and poster designs

Designed and produced innovative packaging, advertising, and point-of-purchase displays for a company that developed and manufactured pet supplies for fish, birds, reptiles, and amphibians
