Clinical Experience

University Clinic 

  • Provided therapy for a client who has Parkinson's Disease.
  • Participated in SPEAK OUT! and LOUD CROWD! programs through UNO's Speech Language Pathology clinic.
  • Administered Assessments and provided therapy for a client that presented with Broca's Aphasia.
  • Provided therapy for people in Voice Modification Group through the UNO’s Speech-Language Pathology clinic.
  • Provided therapy for a late talker. Administered PLS-5 and provided a therapy through play based activities.
  • Provided therapy for a school aged client with Down Syndrome.


School Experience

  • Provided therapy once a week for four hours at Willowdale Elementary school in Millard Public School system.
  • Completed my school externship at Lothrop Elementary school through Omaha Public Schools. Evaluated and treated students in pre-k (including a early childhood special education classroom) through 5th grade. My caseload consists of 80 students that have a variety of disorders including articulation and language disorders, down syndrome, autism, selective mutism, and students who use AAC devices to communicate.


Medical Experience

  • Observed a week in the NICU at CHI Bergan-Mercy.
  • Shadowed the Head and Neck Clinic Methodist for one day and observed/scrubbed in on a thyroidectomy.
  • Completing my medical externship an UNMC in the acute care setting. I am evaluating and providing treatment to babies in the NICU, patient's who have aphasia, strokes, dysphagia, dysarthria, cognitive deficits, patients on trachs, etc.
