I assist elder clients with daily living activities to maintain their health, independence, and quality of life. I provide physical, emotional and logistical support by organizing and performing a wide range of domestic tasks as needed. This includes bathing, dressing, meal preparation, driving for shopping and errands, housekeeping, laundry, internet help, dispensing medications, and companionship for exercise, rehabilitation, and recreational activities, as well as transporting clients outside the home to doctors' appointments or physical therapy sessions. I also have received instruction, and assist, in diverse tasks such as auto and furniture repair, and tractor operation and maintenance.

As a CNA at a retirement community providing all levels of care, I helped residents with activities of daily living, personal hygiene management, feeding and ambulation. I documented information in patient charts and communicated status updates to interdisciplinary care team.
