Kwik Star as a cashier. Basically, I’m up front helping people when they come in—ringing things up, taking payments, and just trying to give good service.

It’s not just standing at the register though. I help stock shelves, clean up, and make sure everything’s looking good. Sometimes I jump in with food too, like getting hot stuff ready or restocking the kitchen area.

It can get pretty busy, especially during rushes, but I don’t mind—it keeps the shift moving. The team’s great too, everyone’s willing to help each other out, which makes a big difference."

• Frequently lifting and carrying packages (sometimes up to 50 lbs or more).
• Standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.

• My responsibility was to take orders, deliver food and drinks, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS (Point of Sale) system.
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure that all orders are correct before delivering them to customers.
• Check in with customers periodically to ensure they are satisfied with their meals and service.
• Keep work areas clean, including clearing empty dishes, glassware, and trash from tables.
• Assist in cleaning and resetting tables for the next guests.
• Suggest upsells, such as appetizers, desserts, or beverages, to enhance the customer experience.
• Follow all health and safety regulations, including food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Ensure proper food storage, hygiene practices, and cleanliness in the dining area and kitchen.
