Inspector Responsibilities
- Plan and organize inspection duties in advance
- Complete and submit applicable inspection reports accurately
- Keep the Chief aware of any daily issues
- Ability to read construction drawings, alignment sheets, and valve maps
- Verify all materials that are used in the installation in accordance with Company requirements
- Monitor the quality of the welds being made and assure the welding materials are in compliance
- Knowledge of API 1104 standards and codes
- Ensure and verify that the contractor is in compliance with the gas company’s regulations and requirements for ditching, lowering in, padding, and backfilling
