Orthopedic Spine Physician Assistant

  • Responsible for own Orthopedic spine clinic in three different locations
  • Performs inpatient hospital care to include admissions, rounding and discharging patients
  • First Assistant in Orthopedic Spine Surgery to include ACDF, reconstructive lumbar, thoracic spine surgery, OLIF/TLIF/ALIF and minimally invasive spine surgery
  • Performs Orthopedic urgent care such as closed fracture management
  • Exercises judgment on problems requiring consultation, referral, or evaluation by the supervising orthopedic surgeon and other healthcare professionals
  • Performs first-line musculoskeletal evaluation and reviews/interprets diagnostic studies of patients referred for emergent and routine management of non-operative conditions

I have served honorably in the U.S. Army for 27 years. I am Gulf War, Iraq, and Afghanistan veteran.
