I have setup and built exchange servers, file servers, domain controllers, VMWare servers, then created virtual servers, and Linux servers. I work with vendors to setup applications and servers for these applications. I use Gantt charts and project management applications to assist on keeping to a schedule. Planning is important in the IT department to prepare for the present and at least ten years into the future. This will get the company thinking into the future and understand the present requirements of the company.
