Experience Summary

  • Inspection – 7 years
  • Perform field inspections of piping systems in accordance with API 570. Draw isometrics for piping configuration. Compile NDE package and coordinate crew logistics with operations. Review NDE results to ensure integrity of piping system is sufficient for continued services. Submit de-rate proposals to engineering and operations for consideration when remaining thickness is inadequate. Coordinate repairs with operations. Assist NDE technicians with UT, MT, VT, MFE support to accrue hours toward attaining NDE certifications. Maintain client’s mechanical integrity database. Review historic inspection reports, enter recent NDE results, and verify component design. Inventory pressure vessels and tanks.
  • Construction – 3 years
  • Establish the foundation P&ID’s for several remote well sites and tank batteries while the company secured leases in the Eagle Ford Assets. Inventoried existing equipment and collaborated with engineering to determine adequate sizing of separation, compression, and flare for forecasted rates as the company ramped up production to 200,000bpd within a year of acquisition.
  • Engineering – 2 years
  • Collect nameplate data for valves, pumps, and compressors for relief capacity study and calculations. Measure piping distances and configuration for Process Engineers running HYSIS program. Track costs and attend budget meetings to discuss project prioritization and proposals for upcoming year.
  • Operation – 1 year
  • Assist operations with MOC close-out once project implementation was complete. Work closely with Operations Training Coordinator to establish revised operating procedures. Revised the P&ID’s and PFD’s annually, and provided a hardcopy set to the field to ensure operations had the most recent drawings available.
  • Maintenance – 2 years
  • Gather manuals for new rotating equipment, valves, and instrumentation. Coordinate inspection and preventative maintenance schedules with the MOC Coordinator to extend run-time and compliance with safety equipment.
  • Safety – 6 months
  • Present technical drawings and spreadsheets during HAZAN review while capturing meeting notes and topics requiring follow-up from the review panel.
