I have held a variety of positions and roles at Graymont that include but are not limited too; Heavy Equipment Operator, Loader, Fireman/Board Operator, AKO, Conveyor Operator and Lab Technician. I am also responsible for safely loading semi-trucks during day shift and railcars at night. I perform safety site inspections as well as pre-use inspection documentation for the heavy equipment that I do operate (d9 dozer, shuttle wagon, 349 cat excavator and much more). I have excellent communication skills and work great with other departments as well as my team. I also regularly perform lock out- tag out work as well as confined space work/permitting and troubleshooting.
I held quite a variety of responsibilities at Lapointe Utilites. I was responsible for the safety and operation of my cable burying crew and all the equipment involved in that process including using a locator to mark and dig up underground utilities for current/future projects. I also ran a Directional drill and the locator to bury pipe and fiber optic cable. I spent the winter months in the mechanic shop performing maintenance and repair of various pieces of equipment used in our projects.
I was in charge of keeping supplies stocked in order to keep operations moving in a smooth manner as well as helped in the assembly of scaffold building.
My main responsibilities were to spread out masonry supplies to keep the bricklayers working. Also build scaffolding and put shelters around them.
