Prepare, monitor and and maintain the testing of prototype transmissions and components. Testing conducted using transmission/clutch/engine dynamometer, component testing, mechatronic testing, vehicle test runs, transmission teardown and evaluation.
Inspect and test electrical systems or equipment using oscilloscope,
voltmeter and ammeter.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain measurement/inspection equipment.
Perform various testing activities for all transmission validation processes.
Create from schematics, wiring harnesses, cables, breakout boxes needed for various test benches.
Install framework and conduit to support wiring of equipment, control panels and junction boxes using hand tools.
Maintain, troubleshoot, service and repair all auxiliary/primary facility equipment to include infrastructure to insure proper, reliable daily operation.
Support the product testing team for all customer requested tests.
Responsible for allocation, purchasing of spare parts.
Maintain spare part inventory.
Train and support test technicians
Maintain a hazard free work place in compliance with ZF policies.
In charge of a four person 3 shift maintenance team. Supervisor and trainer of tooling and equipment.
