  • All my recommendations were made based on NAVMED instructions; firsthand experience and knowledge – Specifically operational experience, education, training, as well as the Division, M3 Readiness & Health Qualification and Standards mission requirements, and the specific application types. Daily categorizing and analyzing ICD9 & ICD 10, codes for case review submissions and data collection. Drafting clinical narratives, complete all submission requirements, forwarding cases to secondary reviewers which are licensed, certified clinicians for the final official naval recommendation and waiver determinations
  • Collateral duties / additional responsibilities consisted of: Admin support assistant and Command Training Team Assistant. Routinely utilizing, improving the Command base communications; mentoring and training. Drafting, 40 plus power point presentations a quarter. Drafted professional correspondence to customers and Clinical Professionals. By specifically, using training methodologies and instructional techniques to individually facilitate and supported efforts on the moderate face to face, ALL HANDS, General Military Knowledge Training evolutions, which supported all BUMED & DHHQ staff and other personnel, from Jan. 2018 to Mar. 2019, to complete required interfaculty certifications.
  • As one of the BUMED Command Urinalysis Program Coordinator, (Military drug screening program). Duties and responsibilities with this role; to provide comprehensive training and knowledge on drug and alcohol abuse prevention and uphold, enforce policy and procedures, regulations for all Navy military personnel. Conducting and maintaining frequent random drug screenings for detection purposes. Most importantly stress and implement frequent education and prevention seminars. Establish enhanced and constructive measures to eliminate the abuse usage of drugs and alcohol, over 500 plus assigned Headquarters Command & detachments, Sailors and Marines. When necessary, ensured procedural, guidance and documentation for treatment processes and disciplinary actions and administrative separation are appropriately conducted, per the program provisions and Navy instruction.
