Taught general studies self contained classes Pre 1A through 4th grade with students of varying behavioral and social/emotional needs as well as learning difficulties. Implemented the school's behavior modification program fostering positive classroom environments. Developed individualized education plans tailored to student needs and learning styles. Delegated and oversaw small group instruction to the classroom support staff. Instilled and encouraged positive peer interactions as well as social and emotional skills development.
