As a field lube technician I go out into the field and do preventative maintenance on heavy machinery. I grease the unit, change engine oil, oil filters, fuel filters, ac filters, air filters, hydraulic filters, breathers and final drive oil. While occasionally do minor repairs on units. Including relays, fuses, boom calibrations, and inspections. I also order parts for most of my units.

I worked here for a short time when i first moved to San Antonio. I operated dirt equipment including motorgraders, skid steers, rollers, and excavators. I also did minor maintenance on the companies units. Which included preventative maintenance, fixing pto leak on water truck, egr valve replacement, etc.

As an apprentice i learned how to repair and diagnose heavy machinery. I worked on hydraulic, electrical, power train, and engine related systems. Brands i worked on included Cat, Jlg, Genie, Skytrack, Club Car, Bomag, Vermeer, Broce, Wacker Nueson, and more. I also learned how to weld and use a torch in order to repair units.
