As a Protective Security Officer (PSO) my duties are securing federal facilities by controlling access (ID checks, screening), monitoring security systems (alarm,cameras), patrolling, responding to incidents and emergencies, enforcing regulations, and completing detailed logs and reports, acting as the first line of defense for federal property and personnel under the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Protective Service.

• Drafted reports of property damage, theft, accidents, and unusual occurrences to document daily activities and irregularities
• Used electronic gates to control vehicle and pedestrian traffic entering the building grounds
• Kept track of employee activities and ensured that they complied with security regulations
• Issued warnings to offenders for rule violations and verbally evicted violators from the premises.
