- Began as a junior data scientist and grew into a leadership position, including managing a team of five and working with other department heads/leads/executives to define and guide the company.
- Provide comprehensive analysis and recommend solutions to address complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources and appling advanced analytical methods to assess factors impacting growth and profitability. Projects include creating prototypes of dashboard measurements of product performance, and helping design new products and tools for a data pipeline.
- Compiled, cleaned and manipulated data for proper handling. Projects include writing 'translators' to standardize hand-typed healthcare data, identifying and remedying translation/standardization/data quality issues and errors (including geocoding locations, data semantics, mistyped/misspelled information, etc.).
- Implemented randomized sampling techniques for data quality checks (both automated and human-checked) and model improvement.
- Most work completed with AWS cloud and serverless resources including S3, DynamoDB, and SageMaker.
- Managing a team of data scientists. Coached, developed and motivated team members, providing coaching and mentoring to junior data scientists and software developers on data mining techniques and performance measurements, defined projects and tasks on short and long timelines, creating and documenting processes for new and existing procedures, hiring, performance reviews, and other managerial tasks.

- Thesis was focused on time series analysis of radio variable and transient sources (e.g. active galactic nuclei, supernovae, tidal disruption events, and other phenomena) using CHILES and the evolution of environments of gamma-ray bursts with associated supernova systems from non-detections of radio emission.
- Wrote successful grants for funding and observational time at multiple observatories, including radio observations, infrared, and optical.

- Developed a time series analysis pipeline for analysis of over 300 sources in an image, looking for changes in brightness in cadences spanning from seconds to years.
- Applied advanced statistical measurement and analysis to detect and quantify transient and variable sources.
