- I have been working in Specimen Processing for five years now. I have worked as a Processing Support Tech IV for 2 years and now I'm working as a Processing Tech IV.
- As a Processing Support Tech you are in charge of a pod (group of people) where you ask for work when the pod has ran out or answer any questions that a processor may have. In Specimen Processing we process samples as they become available off of electronic orders or manual orders that have tests listed to be processed for patients. Once specimens have been processed we send them onto lab, where they will be tested. We are also required to open fedex boxes, as well as shipment boxes and close them as soon as they are finished. We deal with protecting patients information.
- I also work sometimes as a Back-up Workflow when asked. Back-up Workflows are the ones who get work for pods, take pictures of samples when needed and also take things to other labs when it is necessary, for when things need to be taken right away to other departments or need to be sent out to other labs. They also deal with checking all opened boxes and make sure they are completely empty.

- I worked as Pawnbroker at Cash America for five years. Greeting customers as they came in and would ask what they needed help with and also with answering phone calls, then we would take in items from customers to either pawn or sell. Besides taking an ID card from a customer, we would get a signature from customers and a right index fingerprint for anything that was bought or pawned to us. Anything we took in we would get a manufacturer, model number and serial number of the items and locate them in the back area.
- We also would take payments for pawns and layaways from customers. I would also help with doing pfis or pulled inventor and make sure everything is entered correctly on items and price them to go out onto the floor. Also helped with markdowns in the store and putting things out onto the floor.
