I have many secretary/receptionist duties, such as answering the phone, making copies, and helping students with any needs they have. I am also the HESI coordinator and am responsible for giving HESI exams. I oversee all proctor sites which are the sites where online students have to go to take exams. I have to coordinate with these sites to ensure students are getting all they need while using the site.
I have overseen many employees to make sure their job duties were done daily. I train every employee so they know how we expect things to be done. I do basic paperwork as far as schedules, reports and daily logs. I work with many different types of people, from executives to general cleaners, and I have the ability to interact with all types.
I was a IM Aide II, responsible for Medicaid spin downs. I took clients' money and released their Medicaid benefits for the month. I worked with Medicaid to ensure my clients were covered and could receive the benefits needed. I also worked with hospitals when clients were there to ensure their coverage was active so they received the best care. I also worked with pharmacies to ensure my clients got the medications they needed. I worked with insurance companies to make sure their coverage was active. I also performed secretary duties such as answering phone calls and other duties.
I enjoy spending time with my 4 grown kids, 7 sweet grandkids, and my husband. My husband who I've been married to for 31 years, is a police officer, and in his spare time, he sings in a bluegrass gospel group. We travel around and go to a lot of great churches and other venues.
