SFST System Analyst (RCOH HAB Coordinator)

  • As SFST System Analyst (RCOH HAB Coordinator), Mr. Atchison is responsible for advising and managing PM11 Berthings/Furniture, PM12 Paint, PM 13 Decking, and PM 22 Ladder Repair teams for CVN 75 RCOH.
  • As SFST Habitability Coordinator on CVN 75 he is responsible for ensuring decking, painting, and preservation of spaces is done in a smart and on time scheduled manner so that the ship can leave the shipyard according to schedule. He coordinates his efforts between ensuring shipyard work orders are actively updated in the AWP, ongoing habability work is reflected in the blueprint drawings with Autocad, furniture planning, and coordinating with the ship on ongoing projects.
  • Mr. Atchison recommended to SF Division Officer to increase monthly synch meetings to weekly meetings to align SF, with OSIC and AIT allowing for better production. He assisted Weapons Department with their Armory refurbish, weapons locker installs and coordinated space close outs.

  • As Operations Analyst, Mr. Atchison worked with Amentum to help the fleet upgrade to the new SLQ 32 V(6) system that was in development. His assistance was instrumental in developing new techniques and procedures for EW systems in the Navy. Recognized expert in electronic warfare fundamentals, electronic warfare systems, and air/surface warfare. Reviewed and edited hundreds of naval documents. Responsible for overhauling and improving ten electronic warfare initiatives while at Amentum.

  • Mr. Atchison led SOCFWD-EA Joint Operations Center overseas and provided crucial command and control battlefield awareness for 296 personnel across three continents and four commands. He ensured tactical briefs ran smoothly and tactical missions had full battlefield support. Oversaw travel and logistical requirements over three continents ensuring service members were able to travel on time. Managed a budget of 1.8M ensuring efficient travel. His leadership skills ensured that everyone deployed had their personal issues resolved in a battlefield environment and that all HR issues were taken care of for the command. Mr. Atchison managed and ran 30 tactical scenarios involving tomahawk missiles for three battle groups using the GCCS system. Interfaced with war gaming initiatives to prepare battle groups for deployment. As Electronic Warfare Officer in Iraq, he provided valuable EW and IED training. His efforts lead to EW jammer upgrades for the US Army allowing for troop movements to be conducted with less risk of radio controlled IEDs being activated.
