I have grown up around construction my whole life. My father was a general contractor with experience in remodeling and single family housing. While working for my father, I gained knowledge about buildings and leadership. By 21, I was the foreman of my own crew.
In the last 10 years, I have:
Manufactured and installed harbor docks for the port of Juno. Foreman of a crew of 15.
Successfully moved and reestablished the Alpine Lumber wood processing mill (now Oregon Cascade Building Materials) from Dorina, Oregon, to Junction City, Oregon.
Successfully moved and reestablished the Springfield Lumber Mill from Junction City, Oregon, to Myrtle Creek, Oregon.
Established and managed a prefab wall plant that produces 20,000 to 25,000 board feet of walls a day. I have led teams of up to 40 people as General Manager of the wall plant, before moving to designer.
Designed 3-5 story multi-family buildings and apartments from slab on grade, and on podiums.
As a designer and manager of the wall plant, I have gained extensive knowledge of prefab walls from the design to the job site. I have studied blueprints and drawings as part of designing.
Most recently, I successfully built to completion a 217-unit multi-family apartment complex with a rec building, pool, playground, bike buildings, and dog park for Sharpcor Inc., at 4841 W 18th, Eugene. During this project, I managed and supervised all facets of the project, from the ground to the roof. Managed all subcontractors, workers, and inspections.
Built Phase 1 of the Idanha Fire Department. Including site work, the installation of GEO piers, concrete foundation and slab, and prefab walls. Managed all inspections.
