Concert Producer in New Mexico !977 to 2021. Thousands of events in NM. Hawaii Concert Producer 2021 to present. A benefit for the Amigos De Salud food co op started the journey in Taos, NM On Oct 20, 1977. The building of this new endeavor continued into Albuquerque with concerts at UNM with The Police and later with Frank Zappa. We soon moved into the Tingley Coliseum with Linda Ronstadt. Then came the historic years at the Paolo Soleri outdoor theater on the campus of the Santa Fe Indian School where the Foundation For Indian Leadership was created to appease the BLM who became interested in the raised revenue. 25 years of events at that facility was the home of Big River Corporation. Largest event held was Metalllica at the UNM Football Stadium in August of 1994. 27,000 in attendance with only 6 arrests by UNM police dept. I'm proud of my relationship with my attendees and audience over the years. My favorite event is tie between James Brown in Albq. at Graham Central Station April of 1989 and Phil Lesh and Friends on NYE of 2016 at the Hawaii Theater in Honolulu, Hi. Always with any event, all media was contacted and supplied with biographical content and photo content along with interview arrangements as well as reviews of the event. Radio commercials were written and produced mainly locally. Posters and fliers were distributed throughout the city and press releases were sent state wide. Myself and the groups would often appear on the local rock and roll stations on the day of the event. This was the systematic approach used. The concerts needed media awareness and participation. This was always our objective. I enjoyed being good at it...
