• Working closely with Unit Supervisor I would perform task set forth each day as a Unit Charge Staff.

Blood Collections Technician

Under the direct supervision of charge and team supervisor, I was responsible for the timely set up and take down of mobile collections sites. Collection of whole blood units and power reds working in a fast paced environment. Developed strong relationships with staff consistent communication and attentive customer service, resulting in increased overall function of the drive. I was trained to be an on the job instructor after my first year and a half, training new employees on within the guidelines of American Red Cross work instructions and procedures, contributing to a cohesive team atmosphere and improved overall performance.
