- Worked as a Dowel Welder: I was in charge of welding guide dowels to axles, that would eventually be installed in semi-trucks.
- The purpose of the dowels was to make sure the rest of the assembly process would be aligned properly, so it was imperative that my work was done properly, as everything else done to the axle relied upon my job to be done correctly.
- To ensure this, I would set up the machine to the specifications required for each piece, then after the welding process, I would check the quality of the weld, and take measurements to ensure proper distancing of the dowels was in spec.

- I was in charge of the operation of a metal press line, as well as the workers at the end of my line.
