I played a crucial role during a pivotal time as the town faced potential shutdown. In this role, I managed limited resources, maintained public safety, and fostered community trust under challenging circumstances. I was a resilient, adaptable, and resourceful leader with strong crisis management skills and a deep commitment to the community.

I enhanced public safety by conducting regular K9 patrols and responding to emergency situations. I reduced crime rates in Lee County through vigilant patrol and proactive engagement with community members. I collaborated with local law enforcement agencies for successful joint operations and information sharing.

Prior to retiring, I mentored new K9 officers, sharing valuable knowledge and experience to enhance their skills.

I improved recruit performance by developing comprehensive lesson plans tailored to the Law Enforcement Academy curriculum. I was the lead instructor for Taser, and a primary instructor for driving, firearms, and traffic stops for the basic recruit academy. I also collaborated with fellow instructors to develop innovative teaching methods that catered to diverse learning styles and needs.

With a distinguished 26-year career in law enforcement, I exemplified dedication, leadership, and excellence in service. Beginning as a patrol officer, I advanced through the ranks, demonstrating exceptional skills and a commitment to public safety. Throughout my career, I held various positions, including SWAT Commander, Major Crimes Captain, and Training Commander. As the Training Commander, I revolutionized training curricula, emphasizing modern law enforcement techniques, legal updates, and community-oriented policing. I ensured all officers received comprehensive, up-to-date training, significantly improving departmental performance and readiness.
