• Began in the maintenance department of a large dry cleaning plant. Duties included High-pressure boiler maintenance and repair of the cooling tower, pneumatic equipment, steamfitting, and plumbing. Promoted to plant manager, then several years later, company general manager. Supervised the day-to-day operation of three dry cleaning plants and retail stores. Managed government bids and contracts, including The White House, FBI Academy, and Quantico Marine Base satellite sites to operate efficiently. Introduced retail computer automation to satellite operations. Trained managers in teamwork measures for employees. Washington Post noted one of our stores, "top five Dry Cleaners." in the Washington DC area. Drove year-over-year business growth while leading operations, strategic vision, and long-range planning.
