As a Master Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, was personally responsible for leading and managing 70+ Marines as well as designing, executing, and supervising multiple operational and personnel developmental projects concurrently. The work with previous employer involved planning and maintaining military communications systems for a Marine Corps presence within Australia. In this role, not only did it involve managing contracts worth more than $30 million dollars, but also coordinating efforts between civilian experts in various fields such as data networks or transmission technologies. This experience working with cross-functional, international teams has taught myself the importance of building trusted relationships and inspiring a shared project vision. I can bring to an organization real-world experience in developing successful project plans, communicating expectations clearly, and encouraging team enthusiasm, even in the late stages of the project cycle.
